Thursday, Friday and also on the weekend

I am answering to an email where I have to confirm my availability and I would write something like this:

<<...I am available on Thursday, Friday and also on the weekend.>>

But I am not sure if I have to write <<in the weekend>> or <<on the weekend>>??

PS: I read your post "Please be patient!", it means even that your forum it is so good!!! With several users!!! This is just my third time in here, although... Congratulation!!!

In BrE it is usually "at the weekend", I think that in AmE it is "on the weekend". "In the weekend" is not correct.
