Default for whom

Are these sentences correct:
1-The student the present for whom was a book is my brother.
2-The student, the present for whom was a book, is my brother.
3-The student the present given to whom was a book is my brother.
4-The student, the present given to whom was a book, is my brother.

I prefer the second one, that is:

The student, the present for whom was a book, is my brother.

What do you think?

Thanks TDOL. The sentence you suggest is of-course the best, but I wanted to know if the other ones were structurally OK.

All of them strike me as rather awkward. How about:

"The student who got a book for a present is my brother."
