Hi, Do..
Tell me about it !!.. English is a hyper-complicated language. So I take your words as mine. My native language is Spanish( Honduras, Central America). Tip for you : Purchasing dictionaries online(softwares) has been a very useful method to me. One of them is Babylon.com( a pop-up window dictionary). It's not expensive. Buy it, download it and install it on your PC. I also have other suggestions, which I'll let you know in the days ahead if you want.
Good Luck !

Tthink you mean the transitive and intransitive verb.
is that right?
I was saying sth last night ,that made me think for awhile, when I said:"everything I´ve got in this life I owe ,(and here´s come the doubt) to my mother orrrr......
I owe my mother.Imean if I mean phisically ,like money or countable things,in a nutshell,is not fit the preposition but it does not sound good to me if I don´t say it on that example.Well.Ihope you could help me out. Thanks anyway,Suz.Later.

It's OK to me, but how about 'all down to my mother' to avoid it?

Smile Re: Who introduce who

Hi!
I've just register this site but I can't understant very well how it works. Is it a community to discuss language. I have some doubt in the English language. I'm Brazilian and I've been teaching English for 2 years in a secondary school. The place where I live is small and there are few English teacher here. Sometimes I need a good teacher to explain my doubts. Is it possible to get help in this site.
Look forward to an answer.
Irani
