Default 'Offer for attending' Vs 'offer to attend'

Which one is the correct way of using?

1.Thank you for your offer for attending the interview
2.Thank you for your offer to attend the interview.

If the above sentences are not good enough for thanking a HR Manager who has invited me attend the interview, could you suggest me another sentence with same meaning please.

You get an offer for a job but not an offer for an interview.
You get called for an interview.
So, I'd say: Thanking you for callling me for the interview.

not a teacher
