Question Team works OR Teams work...?

I want to say that I worked within different teams and I am not sure how to make the plural form. I know that, generally in cases with two words, I have to make the plural form by making the second word as plural. Though in this case I am not sure. For example:

If I say Team works it means one team that works for different projects.

If I say Teams work it means different teams in the same project.

    Is it correct?

It would be better to have the sentence in which you want to use it - could you post what you want to say?

Sure, here what I want to write:

I have extensive experience in relationship management and providing liaison role between departments, offices and teams work.

"teams" would be the word to use. It is not necessary to include work in this context.

You could rephrase to say "...and acting as liaison for the work of different departments, offices and teams."

I agree with Anglika's suggested rephrasing,
"...and acting as liaison for the work of different departments, offices and teams."
In addition, teams work in your original context doesn't work in North American English.
