Default wager

Hello,

I was reading a comic book and someone very angry says

"I'll wager whoever induced it."

In the sentence above, what does "wager" mean?

Thanks in advance

"Wager" means "bet".

The sentence does not make sense. Are you sure you have copied it exactly?

Hello,

I am sorry. The sentence was incomplete. The correct is:

I'll wager whoever induced it is still inside with him.

Thanks

The person is saying that is what he thinks happened. And he is pretty sure of himself.
