" One " should be the choice in this sentence instead, right ?

If it's in reference to second-hand smoke, then I'd use "you":
Each cigarette a person smokes does some harm (to you) and eventually you may get a serious disease from its effects.
If it's not in reference to second-hand smoke, then I'd use "s/he"/"one". :D
