Conveyed Business Idea
Dear friends and Teachers,
A. The new staff conveyed his new business idea to the manager last night.
- Instead of saying like this, could I say like this?
"The new staff conveyed the manager his new business idea last night."
Thanks a million!

In the UK we do not use "staff" to mean an individual, so this sentence would be "The new member of staff" or "The new employee".
However, it is also an awkward sentence. This is how I would phrase it: Last night, the new member of staff told the manager about his new idea for the business.
