What do these mean?

1. These two old school benchmarks came out about where we expected.
2. These two old school benchmarks came out about where we expect. (Is this correct? It sounds kind of odd? If it is wrong, why?)

Both are fine. 1. refers to a past expectation, whereas 2. refers to a present/future expectation.

1. These two came out about where we expected [them to come out].
2. These came out about where we expect [them to come out].

1. This is a duplicate receipt
2. This is a duplicated receipt.

3. We got to go to the mall. (How come 'got' is not 'get'? I'm not talking about past tense right now. I'm trying to say we are going to the mall right now. All TV I see this a lot. Why?)
4. We have to go to the mall. (How come 'got' in #3 is not in present tense like #4?)
5. We've got to go to the mall. (Is 'have' omitted in #3? )

Question:
6. What does this word mean?
Answer (For #6: 7-10):
7. I forgot what that word means. (Is this correct? If not, why?)
8. I forgot what that word meant.

9. I forget what that word meant.

Question:
11. What's a lunch break?

Answer for #11:12-13

1. What kind of receipt? A duplicate receipt.
2. A receipt that has undergone a change: a duplicated receipt.

4. We have to go to the mall. (We need to go. 'have' is emphasized)
5. We've got to go to the mall. (A contraction of 4. 'got' is emphasized)
In addition, We gotta go to the mall. (Colloquial: We have to go to the mall)

6. I don't understand the question, sorry.

7. I forgot what that word means (Present fact). (But I remember it now)
8. I forgot what that word meant (Past tense). (But I remember it now)
9. I forget what that word meant (Past tense). (And I still don't remember)
10.I forget what that word means (Present fact). (Same as above)

1. I can't really picture the difference in meaning between the two in my head. Could you explain it again? Thanks.

Scenario: I'm leaving the house right now and I say: Let's go, we are going to be late Lewis. We got to go.
Quote:
3. We got to go to the mall. (We were given permission to go).
2. We got to go to the mall. (So this mean we were given permission to go? This doesn't mean 'We need to leave the house and go?' Why do people use 'got to go'? Isn't 'got' in past tense?)

Quote:
7. I forgot what that word means (Present fact). (But I remember it now)
3. I forgot what that word means. (What do you mean by present fact? So present fact as in you don't know what that word means in the past?)
Quote:
8. I forgot what that word meant (Past tense). (But I remember it now)
4. I forgot what that word meant. (What do you mean by past tense? Like you didn't remember what that word meant at the time you looked at it in the past? And the fact is that you do know what it means except not at the time when it was mentioned? )

What do these mean?
5. He forgot what did he do. (did=past tense. What does that mean?)
6. He forgot what do he do. (do=present fact. What does that mean?
I don't get it. Does it matter which one you use then? Could you give me a scenario for 'did' and 'do'? Thanks.

7. He doesn't know what it means. (Fact? He doesn't know what that word means?
8. He doesn't know what it meant. (He doesn't know the meaning of that word when I showed to him?)
