Usage of "series"
"A series of"
Does "a series of" take a singular or plural verb? Thanks.

Re: Usage of "series"
Welcome to the forums.#
A series of things is to be discussed.
A series of things are to be discussed.
You can use either, depending on whether it is "series" [singular] that is the subject of the verb, or "things" [plural].
