"might", Past Simple and the Passive

Is this sentence correct?
He might was stuck in a traffic jam.
I guess this isn't. Maybe I should write:
He might have been stuck in a traffic jam.

Could anybody help me?

(He was late) He might have been stuck in a traffic jam, (we are not sure that he was, maybe there was another reason for his lateness).

He was stuck in a traffic jam, (we know that he was and that's why he was late).
So you can see that "might was..." cannot go together.
