Will it be waiting for you in heaven? Scenario:
(Bart was attending Sunday school.)
Bart asked the teacher, "Um, ma'am, what if you're a really good person, but you're in a really, really bad fight and your leg gets gangrene, and it has to be amputated. Will it be waiting for you in heaven?"
Questions:
Q1: Can I rephrase the sentence I hightlighted in blue as below? Is it Chinglish?
Will you go to heaven? (=Will it be waiting for you in heaven?)
Q2: Does 'it' refer to God or meaningless in the sentence written in blue? I think it is meaningless because it should be 'He' rather than 'it' if the writer refers to God. Am I right?
