Default pace/rhythm

I want to say to jump rope, when the rope gets to one's eyes one shall jump then one would be able to jump rope sucessfully. If one keep up the same rhythm then one can continue.

Is the following correct?

To sucessfully jump rope, one must keep up with the same pace
To sucessfully jump rope, one must keep up with the same with the rhythm

Thank you

To sucessfully jump rope, one must keep up the same pace and rhythm.
Pace is a measure of speed.
Rhythm is a measure of the consistency of the movements.
