Hi,
Do these expression mean the same please?

Let's turn back time a little to the late 1940s, the early' 50s.
Let's go back in time a little to the late 1940s, the early' 50s.

This reminds me of the R. Kelly's song, If I could turn back the hands of time; which shows prefectly that you may say it differently.

Sure you will bump into other ones elsewhere.
