my child's teacher asked to fill-up this blank, seeing this i'm blank what is the right answer
the question is

as__as an owl the blank to be filled with the right word,

is this a phrase or an idiom?? and help me to complete this sentence

It's "As wise as an owl." there are many expressions of this type in English for example, "As blind as a bat." "As timid as a mouse." etc.
