Default anime or cartoon
What is the difference between anime and cartoon?
Both are motion picture of fictional characters.
Then I would like to now some examples? Is Pokemon an anime or a cartoon?

"Anime" is Japanese animation. Cartoons are animations, and used to carry the implication of comedy, but now can be any type of animated films.
