a music question #1
Whiskey in the jar by metallica
As I was goin´ over
The Cook and Kerry mountains
I saw the Captain Farrell
His money he was countin´
I first produced my pistol
And then produced my rapier
I said stand and deliver
Or the devil he may take ya
What do the words in bold mean?

Re: a music question #1
produced = took out [from a pocket/from a holster]
"Or the devil may take you" = I'll kill you. The line is written in this way to provide scansion. "He" is not necessary.
