Dear teachers,

Could you please explain the meaning of "dense sausage'' to me? Does it mean there is more meat in the sausage or does it mean there is too much fat? I can't find the meaning by consulting "dense".

I've never heard the phrase before, but I'd say it means tightly packed. (See a picture at the top of the page here).
