Default Proper Salutations

I am a homeschool parent and we are currently studying proper salutations, such as: Mr. Mrs. Ms. What is the proper salutation for addressing an envelope to a small male child and a small female child? Is it still correct to use; Miss or Master?

Welcome to the forums.

There is nothing incorrect, but it is beginning to look very old-fashioned, particularly for small boys.

We tend just to address the envelope to the child using the full name : John S. Smith
