Kind
Why is this correct?
1. What kind of fish is that? (subject=what and verb is 'kind' which is singular and there is no -s added to it. How come it is right?

What kind of fish is that?
That is a tuna fish.
'What kind of' represents an adjective,
'fish' is a noun,
'is' is the verb, and
'that' is the subject complement: a predicate nominal/a noun.

What about?

That is a tuna.

Are these correct?
1. What kinds of car is this? (What's the subject and verb?)
2. What kinds of car are these?
3. What kinds of cars are these?
What does #2 and #3 mean?
