Default take to the moon

Is "take me to the moon" an idiom? If it is, what's its exact meaning? I heard it in a romantic scene of a movie.

Default Re: take to the moon

There's a song lyric which goes: "Fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars"

I haven't heard 'take to the moon' used as an idiom, but 'take someone to heaven and back' means to make love to them and make them feel so good they feel like they've been to visit heaven.
