Would you tell me why "any bank" is used in the first and third sentences below , while "any banks" is used in the second, fourth and fifth ones?
1.I don't know of any bank that is open on national holidays.
2.No, there aren't any.
3.Is there any bank open at night?
4.Are any banks open yet?
5.Do any banks here give gifts to customers opening new accounts?
