Help! What is the difference between "scheduled on" and "scheduled for"? Is it right to "scheduled on (a date)", while "scheduled for" (a day)?

Hello Anon,

In British English:

1. I've scheduled a meeting for Friday.
2. I've scheduled a meeting on organic vegetables.
3. The meeting was scheduled on Monday.

#1 says when the meeting will take place.

#2 says what will be discussed.

#3 says when the meeting was arranged.

It may be different in American English, though!
