Cool cover credentials

What does "cover credentials" mean, please?

As in "We will invite you officially and cover credentials"

More context is needed, but it seems to mean the "we" will include/provide required evidence of authority, status, rights, entitlement to privileges, or the like, usually in written form.

"Cover" in this context would be "to deal with".
