Help on Comprehension.

Greetings.

I'm a current English student in my final year of high school in Fiji, which is Form 7. I wanted help on comprehension. I find the questions difficult no matter how easy the passage is. Can you give some good tips. My teachers told me to read the passage over and over again until i get it but that does not seem to work for me. Also there is only 3 hours for our English exam so we do not get enough time to read the passage more than twice.

What is the specific problem that you have? For example, some people get nervous in a test and can't concentrate. Some read the passage alright, but immediately forget what it said. Some remember vaguely what the passage was about but don't understand it. Some understand and remember the passage but don't understand the questions about it. Some understand the questions but can't see how they relate to the passage.
Do you know which category you fit into?
