Hi,
I'ed like to know whether the following sentences are aceptable and where can read the relevant rules that would apply in such cases:
1) On Saturday morning I watched TV at 11:00.
2) At 11:00 on Saturday morning I watched TV.
3) I watched TV at 11:00 on Saturday morning.
Are there any rules for the word order in these sentences?
Thanks for your answer.
As far as I'm concerned, all of them are correct. I think it is just a semantic/stylistic matter -to show the most important element in the sentence whether it is the agent, time, place etc.
For example, If we want to give importance to the day ...
On Saturday morning, I watched TV at 11:00.
I hope I helped you ...
