    Default Use of Idiom

    Hi,

Is it right to use Idiom inplace of simple sentence ?.

    for example:
    Simple Sentence:

This is require to understand the detail picture of MSOffice

    Sentence with Idiom:

This is require to know the ropes of MSOffice

This requires to know the ropes of MS office is fine I think. But how about this one:
When it comes to MS office, you really need to know the ropes.
    Not a teacher.
