Thank you. I'm 15 years old now! I got birthday punches from my friends. "Hey, did you get any winkles?", my science teacher said with his laughter. ( I took it seriously but he said he was joking)

'Birthday Beats' in the UK I think whoever edited that Wiki page had got a rather regional bee in his bonnet.

The only thing remotely like this ^that I've met^, associated with birthdays, is the 'Bumps'. A crowd of friends take hold of the person whose birthday it is, and hold him like firemen holding a blanket. They throw him up and catch him just before he hits the ground, once for each year of the birthday.
