Default Compound Nouns, present participle, past participle, adjective.

Please, tell me when we use the compound Nouns, Adjective, present participle or past participle in front of Nouns. why sometimes they use compound nouns instead of using Adjective in front of nouns.
And when we use present participle in front of nouns instead of past participle.
Please, instruct me the best way to practice listening skill.
Thank you very much.

- Some grammar rules base on the agreement of the community using the language .We can't explain all of them , I think .In Vietnamese for example :

We say "cứu hoả " no body says "dập hoả" and We say "chữa bệnh" no one says "diệt bệnh".....Can we explain the reason why ....?

- I am bored with the boring news .I am a bored person .

"boring news" => active meaning .

"bored person =>passive meaning .

Please wait for answers from other teachers .

Good luck !
