Question Why do not consider my for this role...?

I am writing an informal e-mail to someone is looking for new personnel and I would like to write something like this:

    Hello xxx

    Thank you for your e-mail.

    What an interesting role!

I have all the skills and expertise that you are looking for, I am looking for a new challenge and I am immediately available. Why do not consider me for this role?

I hope to hear from you soon.

    Best wishes

    What do you reckon?

These are my suggestions; I am sure others will provide valuable input.

    I am not a teacher.

I would not use the word "role".

    Position or job.

I would also question whether you are absolutely, completely sure that such an informal approach is the way to go.

Applying for a job is one of the times when your most formal, carefully chosen words are used. If you are too casual, the person may think you take the idea of the job casually as well.
