Mrs Adalgisa didn't show up today. I think she came but wasn't able to get into the house. I forgot my key in the lock and, you know, when there's a key in the lock from the inside nobody manages to open the door from the outside because the lock gets stuck. She probably wasn't able to open the door and simply went away.

The lock is not stuck, but just inaccessible.

I would suggest:

...when there's a key in the lock, no-one can insert/use a key from the other side so they will not be able to unlock the door.

I think there's a malfunction in the lock. It's made to be opened from both sides with or without a key already inserted in one of the sides. The problem is that sometimes, only sometimes, when someone forgets a key inserted in the lock from the inside, a key from the outside cannot make the lock mechanism perform a full rotation and open the door. The lock actually seems to be stuck, I mean, it seems that there is something blocking the mechanism so that the key rotates only half-way. It seems that something prevents the key to rotate freely.
Under this circumstance can't I say that the lock is ''stuck'' or ''jammed''?

Well, I have never encountered a lock of this kind, but yes, if there was one designed in the way you describe and the mechanism jams, then you could say that it was jammed or stuck.
