With roller coaster rides, dodgems and many other forms of amusement, the theme park is sure to get you both smiling and having a laugh.

I don't see any difference between "smile" and "have a laugh". Could you tell why the writer used both of them there? I think this may require some native intuition, which I am asking for you to share me with. Thanks very much. :)

get you smiling, make you happy
get you laughing, make you express your happiness audibly

a smile, a facial gesture expressing amusement
a laugh, an audible sound expressing amusement

I think I can see clear differences between them now, thanks to your explanation, Cas. I figure the reason that I confused the two is that we put them into the same Chinese character. That's too bad. :(
