    Default reported speech

    Hello,
    If I want to report the question: "Will you go to the movies?" what should I say?

    He asked me if I would go to the movies

    Is it correct? I've been told to never use "if + would" but I suppose this is in a conditional sentence, and this is not a conditional sentence, right?
