Here're my analysis.
Number 1 contains three independent sentences. This might not sound concise.
Number 2 contains two independent sentences. "the other was made of iron" was the adverbial of the later sentence.
Number 3 contains one independent sentence. The adverbial is "one made of china and the other made of iron".
Am I right? Could I have your opinions about them? Thanks!
