Hi
My friend who works in a tent factory will take part in an exhibition next week and the specification of the pole (metal tubes for strutual support) is 28mmX15mmX0.9mm
She has been discussing the products with foreigh customers for months via email only and does not know how to read these the specification when she meets the customer fact to face.
Is it read as "twenty-eight times fifteen times point nine millimeter " ?
No: it would be
Twenty eight by fifteen by zero/Oh point nine millimetres.
And there is another question of mine:
How do we read the punctuation ?
My email address (account) does not contain any punctuation but my friends meet these problem, such as
kevin-EMAIL REMOVED - Send PM to This User Instead or
EMAIL REMOVED - Send PM to This User Instead
Then how do we read the punctuation of - and _
on the telephone.
- = hyphen/dash; _ = underline/underscore
THANK YOU
Kevin
