Nine parts of speech
I want to keep my English up to date, and so let me ask.
One of Myanmar English teachers say:
There are nine parts of speech in English.
Is it right?
One part of speech is ARTICLE.

Traditional grammar classifies words based on eight parts of speech: the verb, the noun, the pronoun, the adjective, the adverb, the preposition, the conjunction, and the interjection.But in some books and websites, they classify words based on nine parts of speech: adjectives, adverbs, determiners (articles), interjections, conjunction, nouns, prepositions, pronouns, verbs.English determiners:•Articles: a, an, the •Quantifiers: all, few, many, several, some, every •Possessive adjectives: her, his, its, my, our, their, your •Demonstrative adjectives: this, that, these, those
