    One more post, 'blow sb away' to kill sb by shooting. Is 'blow away' seperable ? If it is then can i say? 'I'll blow away him' correct?

    No, you have to say "blow him away" not "blow away him." That applies to most pronouns with phrasal verbs. You also don't say "look up it" or "scope out it."

    It can mean to kill, but it can also mean to greatly impress.

    I was just blown away by how wonderful that children's choir sounded.
