Smile Topic or Subject?

Hi

What's the difference between the topic of a conversation and the subject of a conversation?

I know roughly what they are, but I need a better definition. It would be great if you could help me. =)

Thanks!

Default Re: Topic or Subject?

The more serious the discussion, the more likely I'd be to use 'subject'.
