I bumped into this expression while translating captions from an American movie.
In the scene, the heroine was goodbying to two close friends of hers.
One of the friend said " have a blast" ,then they left.
What does this expression mean here??

"Have a good time!" Though I don't know why the travelling pair are saying this to the person staying behind.

It seems to be an insulting way of saying "go away" or "leave me alone".
But I just don't understand why he said this to his friends when departing them. There was no annoyance and the four of them were really good ,commited friends with each other. The one who said it actually invited the other couple to come to the States in the future.
