could you help me with this propositions and correct those that are wrong?


1.Although he studies hard,Derek never does well in his exams. MATTER
Derek never does well in his exams,no matter how hard he studies.
2.It looks as though the thieves escaped in a white Mercedes van. GETAWAY
The thieves may have getaway in a white Mercedes van.
3.The town council rarely seem to consider the whises of the residents. INTO
The wishes of the residents rarely are considered into by the town council.
4.Carrie's mum said it was her fault the party was ruined. PLACED
Carrie's mum ................... for the party being ruined.
5.When the thieves broke into our home,they took our computer and all our CDs as well. ONLY
As a result of the break-in,we only lost our computer and all our CDs.
6.There were a lot of people at the resort,but Mandy still had a great time. FACT
Mandy had a great time at the resort despite the fact she was crowded.
7."You left my MP3 player on the bus,Joe!"shouted Oliver. ACCUSED
Oliver accused Joe for living his MP3 player on the bus.

oliver accused joe of leaving his mp3 player on the bus. "accused" used ok.
