Just as the previous action had lay down monumental milestone to mark the socioeconomic progress, so too the result of her action is likely to leave a significant impact on the country's economy and stability

Just as the previous action was a monumental milestone marking our socioeconomic progress, so too her action will result in a significant impact on the country's economy and stability.
