Can you help me understand this sentence please?
"Although it's not clear how much good coming on in the 90th minute would have done him!"
It's an article about a soccer player. This sentece is really hard to understand. Does this sentence mean that he played well? Or he played bad?

The situation might be that he is a very good player, but his team is loosing, the coach had only allowed him to come in to the field at the 90th minute. That's not likely to give him enough time to play and help the team recover from their lost position.
