We have been experiencing the lapses from your end on some instances in the past too, which aggravated us to write this complaint.
Don't think the word is correctly used. Try 'prompted'.

    To,
    The Post Master General,
    ...................................,
    Bangalore PIN 500 001

Subject : Proof of negligence in delivery by local Post office.

Reference : My complaint with you on dt. ../09/2008.

    Dear Sir,
with reference to above, I would like to present a proof of the negligence and incompetence of the local Post office. An Invitation card at my address was sent at my present address by my relatives. It was not dellivered by the local Post office and was sent back to the sender. The same has been given back to me by the sender on the occasion of wedding and was also asked whether I really resided on the address!
This shows the complecency of the local Post office. I am also attaching herewith a Phototocopy of the same. Also, I had lodged a complaint earlier about the late notice of a registered article which was sent back to sender on the false pretext that the premises were locked, while during that period the family had never left the place, forget about locking it. There is no action in the matter yet. The present proof of the returned wedding invitation is a proof of the callousness with which the local Post office is working.
I hope you would look into the matter and take all the necessary actions against the erring personnel and instruct preventive measures for the non-recurrence of such incidences again.

    Yours truly,

    Rasna Cheers.
