hello,

I did a lots of computation and I was desperate for faster solutions.

When I'd started doing some of the computation the computer had needed even two days to finish it. After two years the time demanded to do exactly the same calculation was reduced to 5 min.

Observing the technological progress was an amazing experience. Nowadays the computer I have is more than enough to what I do so I'm no more desperate.

Any suggestion to the passage ? I' not sure whether I chose appropriate tenses, especially the underlined parts.
