    Default most well or best?

Is it ok to say "This town preserved the nature most well" or "This town preserved the nature the best. Which is right?

Default Re: most well or best?

The way I see it is that Best (adv.) is the superlative form of well so the correct usage will be :
This town preserved the nature best. (Note "best" without the)

Most well [/U][/U]is usually used in compound adjectives like most well-known/established/suited.
