I am writing some paper that needs a little bit literature survey. When refering to some work people have done before, do I use
"previous works" or "previous work"?
I prefer that latter. But if this is refering to more than one person's work, should I say:
"previous work are...."?
then, do I say "much work" or "many work".
I prefer the latter again, but don't know what happens about the "many is used with coutable noun" rule...
thanks a lot!
previous work - you are refering to his overall production

I think now I understand it more.
