Default The definition of the word parse:

The definition of the word parse:
To break (a sentence) down into its component parts of speech with an explanation of the form, function, and syntactical relationship of each part.

Does "an explanation of the form, function, and syntactical relationship of each part" mean "an explanation of the form of each part, function of each part, and syntactical relationship of each part"?

Dear teachers,

What does Newhope mean by "syntactical relationship between each part"? In what way is different from the function of each part?

Many thanks,
Hela
