Jane's amiability certainly made one wanting to approach her.

Jane's amiability certainly made one wanting to get close to her.
Are these correct? I'm not sure whether I write these sentence correctly or not. Please advise. Thanks.
They both sound fine to me even though the first one sounds a bit long winded. To get around that one, you may simply use the word "approachable" instead:Originally Posted by piggy386

On top of what Natalie said, the second verb is conjugated incorrectly. It should be in the subjunctive.Originally Posted by piggy386
