hand somebody back something
Dear teachers,
Please read the sentence:
He handed her back the glove.
I don't understand the grammar of the sentence.
I think it should be:
a. He handed the glove back to her.
b. He handed back her glove.
Is that right?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.
Jiang

b. He handed back her glove.
I think that all these three sentences are correct.
