Go along the road along the pavement
Hi,
I'd like to know what you think about this sentence about giving directions
Go along the road along the pavement
Immagine I am on my moped; I stop and ask about the way.
Is it possible to say that sentence. By that sentence I mean that
I should drive (on the paved street) having the pavement as a reference....Is my sentence clear?
Can I use the same sentence if I were on foot ( in that case I would be walking ON the pavement, not in the middle of the street as in the former case..):roll::-?
Thanks rip

On your moped:
Go along the road, following the pavement....
Go along the road, keeping the pavement on your left/right side....
On foot
Go along the pavement on this road ....
